Ms Ellie : Good evening, everyone. I am your reporter, Ellie Matthews.
Mr Ryan : Good evening. I am Ryan Teoh.
Ms Ellie : The headlines today is very surprising to many. I am sure many are wondering whether this is an issue to the citizens.
Mr Ryan : The News Street Times printed a headline regarding the sales of a fried kuey teow stall in Temiang, Seremban. It seems that this stall sells fried kuey teow which is already spoilt. Is it so ?
Ms Ellie : Let's find out. We will be talking to Brian Kassi who is on the scene. Brian . . .
Mr Brian: Thank you, Ellie and Ryan. I am Brian Kassi. I am currently on the scene where the fried kuey teow sold at this particular stall in Temiang is said to be spoilt. This is the chef, Mr Ravish Kumar. Can you explain why is the fried kuey teow here sold said to be spoilt ?
Ravish : I myself don't know. I just sold two plates to a chinese uncle and aunty. After eating, they scolded me and said " Zhe ge guo tiau hen nan chi ". I was like "What? ". And then he was like " Bu hau chi". And I was like " What?". Then, the aunty said " Wai! You no no speak chinese ? "And then I was like " Who are you calling wai ! I no no speak chinese but I speak english! You old woman. " She suddenly replied " Who you saying om moman?" I was like " It's old woman; not om moman? Hei, aunty. Go dig your ears." She said " I no dig my ears for 20 years. I no ploblem hearin." I was like " Aunty, you don't dig your ears but do you bathe ?" She replied " I bathe with longkang water. Cannot meh ?" I was like " Aiya, enough lah aunty. You very dirty. Don't come back here." She said " What ? I mati ? You pegi matilah you. You sell bad kuey teow. I eat, I complain, you halau me. Must report you to newspaper. Let's go, grandpa. "
Brian : It seems that the story is quite long and complicated.
Ravish: Yes, it is. I am sad that she wrote false things about my stall. She cannot speak english but scold me for not speaking chinese. Aiya, aunty. English is international language ma. Chinese is not international and not a must to learn.
Brian : Thank you, Mr Ravish. Ellie, this is all from the scene. Back to you.
Ms Ellie : Thank you, Brian.
Mr Ryan : It seems that the government is worried about the language matter in this article. However, I don't think that it is the citizens matter.
Ms Ellie : It seems so. It has been a great pleasure to report the news. I am Ellie Matthews.
Mr Ryan : I am Ryan Kassi. That is all from us. Be sure to look left and right when you leave your house for dinner. Have a safe dinner. Thank you and good evening.
